1995年開始，Rutgers大學的台灣研究生創立了台灣研究社(TSA)，長期透過講座或研討會的形式, 提供一個討論台灣政治、環境與社會文化變遷問題的平台, 思考在美台灣人如何看待台灣社會的演變,凝聚共識並且有所行動,同時透過Rutgers TSA 向在美的各國人士介紹台灣獨特的社會文化。今年，RUTSA 邁向第30個年頭，邀請大家共襄盛舉，在4月19日當天，跟我們一同慶祝這個重要的里程碑! 活動當天，將播放電影 【勸世三姊妹】，並有社團歷史回顧、有獎徵答等趣味小活動!
Since 1995, Taiwanese graduate students at Rutgers University have formed the Taiwan Studies Association (TSA). Through movie screening and discussion, we have provided a platform to discuss issues related to political, environmental, and socio-cultural changes in Taiwan. We reflect on how Taiwanese Americans perceive the evolution of Taiwanese society, raise awareness, and take action. Additionally, Rutgers TSA introduces Taiwan’s unique social culture to diverse populations in the U.S. This year, RUTSA is celebrating its 30th anniversary and invites everyone to join in our celebration on April 19th! On the event day, we will screen the movie ‘Don’t Cry, Dancing Girls”, and review our history, TSA trivia games, and many more fun activities!
