SINCE 1995

Rutgers Taiwan Study Association (RUTSA) is a dynamic non-profit organization run by Rutgers graduate students. RUTSA was founded in 1995.
The primary goal of RUTSA is to promote the social, cultural, and academic interests of graduate students of Taiwanese heritage, as well as the broader non-Taiwanese graduate student body at Rutgers University. RUTSA focuses on organizing events such as documentary screenings, cultural exchanges, and career development workshops.
Devoted to exploring Taiwan’s social and cultural landscape, RUTSA curates high-quality documentary screenings as a platform for academic discussions on pressing societal issues. Our aim is to resonate with young minds and foster meaningful dialogues around Taiwan’s unique social challenges. Beyond film screenings, RUTSA organizes engaging cultural events and forums, bringing together the Taiwanese youth studying or working in New Jersey, USA. We are dedicated to cultivating continuous cultural exchange and learning between Taiwan and the United States. Join us in our mission to bridge the gap and promote understanding through shared experiences and perspectives.
